Primary responsibility includes hands-on in manufacturing process study, validation and improvements, the management status report for new projects including development of some documentation as APQP, Control Plans, PPAP, Manufacturing Process Books, visual aids, design of some simple manufacturing fixtures and gages etc.
Responsible for MSDS, RoHS system & information.
Strong communication with customers & suppliers.
This position requires a minimum BS degree or equivalent competency technical skills or 5 years' experience in a engineering function.
Some work experience in complex manufacturing process time and documentation is required.
Management and interpersonal skills are necessary.
Understanding of AITF16949 requirements very desirable.
Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures as well as planning and designing manufacturing process.
Very strong ability to evaluate & monitor any process stage status with process capability study.
Develop an efficient set of work instructions and procedures for the inspection, verification, validation and production processes.
Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering, manufacturing and quality processes to make sure products are of the highest quality in the market.
Responsible for the part of Quality Manual System including documentation, testing and inspection, product and process development, and non-conforming product investigations (8D Reports)Assist Project Managers in APQP process and specific documentation development for process stability & validation.
This position requires advanced skills and proficiency in the use of various software as 'Power Point', Microsoft Management and some 3D Solid Modeling as Solid Works.
Some experience in tool and mold making process or design a plus.
Some Knowledge or ability to learn new manufacturing/management practice as TQM,APQP,PPAP,PFMEA,ISO,TPM,5S, Kalzen, statistics.
Strong knowledge of basic metrology required.
Self-motivated with ability to manage workload under pressure.
Forward thinker/planner-able to monitor organization continuous Improvement process.
Team contributor within internal and external auditing process ability.
Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
Automotive product experience very helpful.
