As one of our client's Tool and Die Makers, you will apply your experience to maintaining dies, creating them from scratch, debugging, and grinding.
You will assemble and complete all necessary detailed work to put progressive dies into a state of production readiness, including analyzing problems and working with engineering to correct them.
You will also perform all necessary work to maintain existing tooling in a production ready state and oversee the operation of the tools in production.
This level of Die Maker will need extensive input in die design reviews.
Class III Die Makers must be able to work independent of instruction, provide mentorship to Class I and Class II Die Makers, and must be able to train Tool & Die Maker Apprentices through the Apprentice Program fully, properly and thoroughly.

About You HS Diploma/GED Class III Tool & Die Makers should have associate degree or equivalent or 15 years of practical experience, however, one may qualify for this class if they have been evaluated to possess superior skills in accordance with this classification, as assessed by the Tool Room Supervisor and Engineering Manager 5
years' progressive die experience; must have tool and die experience Able to read, interpret and understand part drawings (tooling and Product).
Able to perform basic math functions, algebraic, geometric and trigonometric functions Able to setup tools within their class Able to recommend design modifications Able to use standard measuring devices for tooling and stampings Be able to perform basic machining such as milling, drilling, and lathe work About the Company The company is a global supplier of custom interconnect and electric packaging solutions.
