We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a Rapidly Growing Technology Company based in Rockland County, NY.
This Role is Responsible for Managing the Company's Accounts Payable Department and Ensuring that all Vendor Invoices are Processed Accurately and in a Timely Manner.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, and a minimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, including at least 2-3 years in a Managerial position.
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day functions of the Accounts Payable departmentOversee the processing of vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company proceduresManage vendor relationships and account reconciliationsReview and improve departmental processes and proceduresRun and provide AP forecasting reportsCoordinate various year-end projects such as 1099 reportingProvide support and assistance for external financial and sales tax auditsAssist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 2-3 years in a Managerial positionStrong communication and customer service skillsHighly organized with a strong attention to detailAbility to work as a hands-on team playerAbility to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of FX transactionsGlobal AP experience preferred but not requiredSolid Excel skillsSAP experience required, experience with other accounting software a plusThe salary range for this position is $90k to $110k, depending on experience and qualifications.
