As a Field Service Technician, you will be tasked to evaluate, troubleshoot and repair the GEA Mechanical Equipment at various customer sites and various industries.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot, install and repair GEA equipment at customer site.
Basic PLC parameter entry Perform service and properly fill out and submit reports and related documents.
Investigate problems, make repair recommendations and perform equipment upgrades.
Perform in house repair and testing of equipment as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance services.
Work the necessary hours, including reasonable overtime as required, to satisfy the customer and/or complete the task.
Follow up with customers and affiliates as required.
Perform the required research needed to provide the customers with the correct parts, diagrams, documents, etc.
Travel up to 80% Contributes to team effort by completing all tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Your Profile / QualificationsTo qualify for this technical position, you must possess the following skills and experiences:
Good communication skills Mechanical Aptitude Be able to read and assess mechanical diagrams and identify parts.
Computer literate Familiarity with GMP requirements Positive work ethic and enthusiasm Possess or be able to obtain a valid passport.
Must be able to meet travel requirements for Canada to support service as needed.
