Mechanical Engineer - Packaging

OVERVIEW At Crestron, you will have the opportunity to design and develop ship packaging for a diverse product range. This includes packaging solutions with sustainability efforts. This will include developing roadmaps and solutions to meet the company's sustainability goals. This candidate will support new product launches with cost savings solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES Design ship packaging by working closely with the product development teams Meet target cost and test requirements Work closely with suppliers and procurement. Generate engineering documentation, mechanical drawings, and bill of materials Emphasis on renewable and sustainable packaging. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fields with emphasis on ship packaging or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience in ship packaging solutions for electronic products. 3D CAD experience required. (Creo preferred) Adobe Illustrator skills required or ability to learn quickly on the job. Ability to creatively problem solve Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
